FAQ
Does my company need a statutory audit?
Most European countries set size thresholds on revenue, balance sheet total, and number of employees. Exceed them and your annual accounts must be audited by law. Unsure where you land? Send us your company number and we’ll tell you.
How long does the audit take?
Once your accounting data and documents are in, testing runs in days, not months. Most engagements complete well within the statutory filing deadline for your annual accounts.
What do you need from us?
Your national eID, access to your ledger, a short questionnaire, and one checklist of documents. That is it. The portal tells you what we need, once, and never asks twice.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored in the EEA, and covered by a data processing agreement you sign during onboarding. Identity and AML checks run through certified electronic ID.
Can my accountant handle the portal for me?
Yes. Many clients have their accountant complete the data connection, questionnaire, and document uploads on their behalf. You only need to verify your identity and sign.
What does it cost?
Our fee is quoted upfront from your company number and size: half on engagement, half before the report is delivered.
Do you replace my accountant?
No. An auditor independently audits the annual accounts your accountant prepares. They are different roles, and the law keeps them separate. You keep your accountant; we work with them through the portal.
